CCR was invited to bring adoptable pups to the NECA Tradeshow from September 13th through 15th at McCormick Place convention center! We are looking for volunteers to help with the following:
Transport dogs from CCR to the convention center and stay with them at the petting park on the trade show floor on the following dates:
a. Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 12:30pm – 3:30pm
b. Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 12:30pm – 3:30pm
c. Monday, September 14, 2025, from 9:30am – 12:30pm
Each dog will be accompanied by a volunteer, and I am shooting for 5 - 6 volunteers/dogs for each shift. During the shift, the convention requires the following details:
a. The volunteer(s) will arrive 15 minutes before scheduled petting time.
b. The volunteer(s) will remain with the dogs for the full 3-hour period.
c. The volunteer(s) will manage the dogs’ rest periods when needed.
I will be sending out an email to the volunteers signed up with parking and additional details as we get closer to the event!
